JPW
33 Alfred Street, one of Sydney's early free-standing skyscrapers built in 1962 at Circular Quay, underwent redevelopment for facility upgrades. In a small team, I focused on weekly documentation of stairs and lift shafts, along with regular weekly issuing. This project introduced me to a systematic approach in handling complex schedules, contributing to the overall effort of reinvigorating the iconic structure.
Marc&Co
In contrast to my experience at JPW, my role at Marc and Co held an array of different responsibilities. Marc and Co primarily focuses on residential and hospitality projects. Within the firm, my responsibilities have most recently been centered around interior design, specifically assisting in the development of cabinetry and detailed drawings for various projects. Furthermore, my role at Marc and Co extended beyond interiors. I actively contributed to tasks such as presentation, rendering, construction documentation, and scheduling. Working at Marc and Co allowed me to begin to understand the basic fundamentals that go into creating projects

HARRISON ST
Marc&Co
Harrison st Built in 1912, ’ is a striking and high-set period home perched at the crest of a hill. The renovation and extension of the existing federation-style house is designed to take advantage of its private setting, expansive city views, and offering intimate connections to gardens.
A double connected courtyard from the old to the new house was introduced on the ground level, helping to connect the main living spaces to gardens whilst also offering an appropriate response to our sub-tropical climate.
My role on this project was helping the lead interior designer, source, document and present to clients.

BRISBANE CITY
Public Green Space
Brisbane city faces a pressing issue of inadequate greenspace for effective urban planning. The rapid urbanisation has led to a scarcity of green areas, hindering users access to nature and recreational spaces. This deficiency impacts overall well-being, as green spaces are essential for relaxation, physical activity, and community interaction.
MARET ST
Public Green Space
witnessing greenery in a work environment bears profound significance. Foliage offers visual respite, reducing stress and promoting focus. Moreover, it purifies air, boosting overall well-being and creativity. This connection to nature within office spaces underscores the vital interplay between surroundings and productivity.
INSERTION OF GREEN SPACE
Vertical Planning
Verticle Planning optimizes limited urban space, enhances air quality, and promotes urban biodiversity. By integrating greenery into vertical spaces, cities can mitigate the urban heat island effect, reduce energy consumption, and improve the overall well-being of their residents, fostering a more sustainable and livable urban environment.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Community Engagement: Engaged and empowered communities are at the core of a happy city. Residents have opportunities to participate in decision-making processes, fostering a sense of ownership and inclusion (Chen, 2022).

GALLERY
Gaston Bachelard's "The Poetics of Space," becomes a dialectical exploration of the interplay between outside and inside, weaving the collective memories of Queensland's past into the very fabric of its design. Through its form and function, Wenley House Precinct building serves as a vessel for cultural memory, fostering a connection between past and present, and inviting individuals to explore the poetic dimensions of play

LOCKER ROOM
In the U.S. alone [Harvard Business] estimate that about 22 million people could be co-working space members. The global number is much, much bigger. So, 3.8 million global members is still likely less than a 4% penetration rate.
In Brisbane, pre-COVID co-working spaces had a 2.8% penetration in the city office tenancy space. Today, this stands at a greatly reduced <0.3%. (Hardley, 2023)
Every space is furnished with specialised amenities, tailored to the unique needs of artists, ensuring a conducive environment for their work. These purpose-designed facilities promote interaction and synergy among artists, fostering a rich and dynamic creative atmosphere. The architecture is a testament to the commitment to enabling artistic expression, offering a well-crafted and inspiring setting where innovation and collaboration flourish.
Emphasis is placed on the integration of durable materials within the design, ensuring that the amenities seamlessly embody resilience and longevity, contributing to an overall aesthetic that effortlessly withstands the test of time.
COMMON AREAS
Refuge and prospect are fundamental principles in architectural design. "Refuge" refers to spaces that provide a sense of safety, privacy, and retreat, allowing individuals to feel sheltered and secure within an environment. "Prospect," on the other hand, pertains to spaces that offer clear views and a sense of connection to the surroundings, encouraging exploration and interaction. Effective architecture balances these elements, creating spaces that offer both refuge and prospect to cater to human comfort, well-being, and engagement with the built environment.
